TICRA AP-S/URSI 2025 Travel Grants

Apply for the TICRA Travel Grant and Join AP-S/URSI 2025!

TICRA Foundation is offering eight travel grants of USD 1,000 each for the IEEE 2025 AP-S/URSI Symposium in Ottawa, Canada. All submissions must be received no later than May 10, 2025.

Successful candidates will be selected based on their potential or demonstrated aptitude for research. Applicants from all regions and career stages are encouraged to apply.

Who can apply?

Individuals with an accepted paper for the symposium can apply for one of the travel grants.

Application requirements

To be considered for the travel grants, applicants cannot have won the TICRA travel grant last year, must be affiliated with a university, and are required to provide the following:

• Motivational letter (max. ½ page)

• Brief résumé (max. 2 pages)

• Full conference paper

• Copy of conference paper acceptance

Since the travel grants will be awarded during IEEE AP-S/URSI 2025 in Ottawa, Canada (July 13–18, 2025), awardees are responsible for arranging their own travel to the symposium.

Application deadline

Submit your motivational letter, résumé, conference paper, and a copy of the conference paper acceptance to aps@ticra.com with “Travel Grant” in the subject line no later than May 10, 2025.

Successful candidates will be notified by June 10, 2025.

The selection of successful candidates will be made by a committee at TICRA.
